Bee-Bee the faithfull donkey was a custom order for a family member.
he was inspired from an inside joke about raising a donkey to protect a home. I wanted him to look like a donkey with a doggish attitude.
The head was made with a simple wire structure covered and carved with homemade modeling chocolate.
the body is carved cake covered with white renshaw fondant. the hooves are chocolate half sphere.
The whole body was airbrushed with fractal colors and hand painted with karen portaleo paints. the shininess from the eyes and mouth are achieved with edible glaze.
